Legit. Keep on stacking and hodl👊
Bitcoin $200k by the end of this year
This is insane a true leader turning his country around doing good for his people. I’m excited to watch the journey of this country over the next few years.
He has pissed off the IMF. They’re coming after him. I hope and pray he stands up to these criminals.
As a fellow Salvadoran, This is a little misleading. This was part of an initiative to get all school children technology and free internet to not fall behind in learning especially during the pandemic. Obviously it would be helpful w the current adoption for BTC but to say this is because of BTC is false.
Ugh how do they expect them to learn anything with those atrocious bezels… /s
I’m I the only one who thinks the state level involvement in this entire Bitcoin adoption movement is a little creepy?
El Salvador will be leading in the upcoming years
Wouldn’t phones have been a better option? Access to the internet with the ablitity to pay with Bitcoin anywhere
It just feels so weird…
Several comments:
A laptop doesn’t last for so long…
Will they be giving them away forever, supporting them, I doubt it. Oh my laptop broke, it got a virus.
It would take an army of IT people, maybe it’s a way to incentivize that labor market…
They can disable the laptop.in case of theft? Red flags, bye bye privacy…
How do they prevent the sales of these laptops?
Who pays for the laptops and the internet? The government? Foreign companies looking for a piece of the pie?
I hope it works out for them..
To everybody….in this clip.
Can we save the trash headlines for r/politics ?
