I love that smaller countries are jumping in first. Set a good foundation that will tip larger countries to fomo in.

tldr; Two Mexican senators, Eduardo Murat Hinojosa and Indira Kempis, are expected to present their ‘crypto regulation’ proposal before the Chamber of Deputies. Meanwhile, a Congressman in The National Assembly of Panama announced his intention to propose legislation for the country to embrace Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

I bring cold water, but those countries first need to basically abolish their own central banks before adopting Bitcoin, and I don’t think there is *any* chance of that happening before an total hyperinflationary collapse of their own currencies.

Imagine a congressman comes and says “hey everyone, how about we throw away our central bank, that give us money, and start using bitcoin, where we would have to lower our spending as if our lives depended on it?”

    Basically impossible.
Not only no politicians, but the overall voters themselves.. everyone would vote against such move.

What’s the reason for this crash now? 3 hours ago, started dropping. Also, it was good news all yesterday, but the Bitcoin value didn’t jump. I was expecting it to jump 38,5k or even higher, but nothing. It was between 37k and 37.5k. And now it’s nosediving, 35k, and still dropping. It makes no sense, great news is usually causing price jumps, not crashes.
Or maybe there was something horrible news I didn’t notice? All I see is how 2 countries are thinking of getting bitcoin as a legal currency.

And haters are STILL running their mouths.

    Biggest argument :

Its too slow and the lightening network is centralized and not that great to use.

This is pretty much what im seeing.

Except it’s being used to launder illegal money in El Salvador which is a bad look for crypto as a whole ..

It signifies that bitcoin is starting to run out of buyers, good luck profiting on this point onwards.

Skipping the USD, African countries try to switch to Gold standard before. Be careful what you wish for
