On Wednesday, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requested additional comment for a proposed Bitcoin ETF by asset management firm VanEck.
VanEck filed for a Bitcoin ETF back in December. In late April, the SEC used additional time to reach a decision and stated that it would announce its decision on June 17.
The SEC recently announced that it is delaying the decision once again because it wants more feedback.
The SEC has recently announced that it has not taken a decision on other proposed Bitcoin ETF applications and has postponed it. It is known that many companies, including Fidelity, have applied for a Bitcoin ETF.
